Pros: Lots of good features, small and lightweight unit.
Cons: Not the latest technology. Long lasting battery optional.

Pros: Large 3.5" LCD, great quality, great zoom, SteadyShot and NightShot, IR Receiver compatible, digital stills.
Cons: Kind of bulky, slow rewind, B/W viewfinder.
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this camcorder due to its performance in the conditions I have put it through and the quality of video and sound that it captures.

Cons: Digital8 is not widely supported
The Bottom Line: You can save on tapes, have backward compatibility with your existing recordings and still get digital recording quality and longevity.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, Infolithium battery, PC connectivity, lots of features.
Cons: Problems with color accuracy when used indoors.
The Bottom Line: If you're shopping for a new camcorder and you want to go digital without breaking the bank, Sony offers a way to do this.
