Loved it, but sorely lacking NetMD (USB hookup)

(4.00 out of 5) by jumpfroggy on Jan 15, 2005

Pros: Never skips, uses cheap interchangeable media, decent quality audio
Cons: Long cumbersome outdated recording process, next generation adds USB (absolutely necessary)

(5.00 out of 5) by five-seven on Apr 16, 2004

Pros: Highly upgradeable/hackable Long battery life Excelent sound quality (on LP2 mode) Shiny and pretty
Cons: Battery "bulge" Made by Sony Realtime recording A lot of stuff not built in
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you hack hardware and if you don't just do the service mode upgrade. Adds a lot of very useful functions which makes buying it worthwhile.

Pros: Tiny, lightweight, long battery life, good sound quality, sturdy unit.
Cons: No equaliser controls - otherwise close to perfection.
The Bottom Line: A great buy for any music lover. Strongly recommended over other digital music formats for its long playback, tiny size and quality construction.
