Pros: Pretty blue case.
Cons: Keeps breaking, costly to have fixed, distortion, non-user-friendly, no (known) digital output, really frustrating
The Bottom Line: Get something else. Make someone other than Sony manufacture it with better less fragile parts and greater durability and ease of use.

An old no-frills player, but rock solid.
Pros: Built to last, quality recordings, Metal case. Does the job at a nice price.

The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a plain device to record with at a small price, look no further. If you're looking for all the latest features, this is not for you.
