First Experience with a GPS Device is Good So Far

Pros: Lots of features, fairly easy to use, compact and portable, great screen
Cons: Slow to reach "ready" state, power input plug on mounting clip
The Bottom Line: Lots of features for the price. It is pretty easy to use and has a large, bright screen. Reliable and accurate and has lots of customizeable settings.

Garmin does it again.

Pros: MP3 audio, bluetooth, size, battery life
Cons: FM transmitter, mapping outside conus.
The Bottom Line: Garmin is the top of this field and this unit has been the most impressive to date. Just the bluetooth makes it worth it.

Garmin Nuvi 680 GPS, well worth the money--bang for your buck!!

Pros: easy to use, valuable and accurate information, very easy to read, display is clear, colorful
Cons: If you miss your road or turnoff, the "re-calculating" voice can be annoying!!
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is to buy this unit if you are looking for a good GPS, very good unit for the money that you will pay.

Garmin Nuvi 680 - The best GPS for the money?

Pros: Features, Price, LCD Screen, Format, MSN Direct.
Cons: Robotic voice promts, Price at some locations, MSN Direct isn't as refined as I predicted.
The Bottom Line: A great GPS for the price. If you are looking for more from your GPS than just point A-B directions, The Garmin Nuvi 680 is an excellent choice.

GREAT GARMIN 680, BUT PRICEY

Pros: comes ready to use out the box
Cons: expensive, if you can do w/o the extras, Garmin 650OR750 is an excellent choice
The Bottom Line: If you like the extra features, and can afford it, the Garmin 680 is for you. Otherwise choose the Garmin 650 which is few hundred dollars cheaper
