It's "ok" for the price

(2.00 out of 5) by paulbuko on Jan 21, 2008

Pros: Relatively inexpensive. Nice display and easy to operate. Voice commands are easy to understand (clear).
Cons: No map updates available. Must buy software & cable to connect to a (32bit) computer.
The Bottom Line: Below average based on Navman's lack of map updates and support. As well as requiring you to purchase the software to connect the unit to a computer.

Cons: lacks wall charger, maps expensive, lacks computer cable. Route DEMO feature bit awkward.
The Bottom Line: I would have retained this if it came with the wall charger/additional maps for Canada/Porto Rico.

I bought this and used it on my 10 day trip in LA/San Diego/Vegas areas. It worked great though occa ...

Cons: Sometimes a specific street address can't be found less than 10% of the time.

This is a good basic GPS unit. I got it for only $250 after rebates from Office Depot a few months a ...
