Pros: price, very user friendly, smart suggestions, physical buttons, screen display
Cons: not always reliable, powers on slow, pointless popups, loading time,
The Bottom Line: Great pros listed over cons listed makes me choose it over EVERY other gps. i think it's the best out there even though it needs LOTS of work.

The worst GPS I have ever owned but it sure does look nice!

Pros: Awesome looking unit, great bright screen, nice leather case
Cons: Terrible routing, POI database is pathetic, awful customer service
The Bottom Line: I am a huge fan of Pioneer but this has ruined that. Awful routing, POI database is miniscule and out of date. Waste of money

Pros: EASY TO USE-GREAT PRICE-TELL ME WHEN MY TURN IS APPROCHING
Cons: ONLY 500 WAYPOINTS (MANUAL IS VERY VAUGE)
The Bottom Line: I WOULD ONLY USE THIS SYSTEM IF I HAD NO CLUE WHERE I WAS GOING-NOT TO FIND A BETTER SHORTCUT-YOU PROBABLY KNOW THEM ALREADY!

AVIC-S1 a Disappointment

Pros: Fairly easy to use and bought from Hooked On Phonics at a good price.
Cons: Very poor software that is not dependable. Promised software upgrade has not been provided.
The Bottom Line: There are much better GPS devices available from Garmin and Magellan. I am very disappointed with the Pioneer software and their lack of interest in providing promised software updates.
