Simply put...a great camera!!

Pros: Relatively light weight compared to my older SLRs. Easy to use for its many functions.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
The Bottom Line: An amazing camera, and can be purchased used at a very attractive price; and like all the Nikons I know, uses a variety of Nikon lenses produced over many years.

First film SLR - great camera for the price

Pros: It's an SLR and can be found cheap, professional level tool.
Cons: advanced features require a databack. No built in flash, requires hotshoe flash.
The Bottom Line: These used to be $1000 back in 1995 now you can get them dirt cheap. They are worth every penny

Nearly bombproof and very durable

Pros: Solid build, great meter, clean design, 1/3 step shutter speeds, very weather resistant
Cons: Menu layout, no second thumbwheel, whiny noisy motor
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a solid and cheap film SLR, that is sturdy and dependable, this is the way to go. You can probably find them very cheaply now also!
