My humble opinion

Pros: Impressive zoom numbers, small, light, well made, convenient control, good manual override
Cons: Slightly grainy, sparkly video, microphone sensitive to camera handling, operator breathing.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera to someone who wants to learn about digital video without great expense, not for taking those "once-in-a-lifetime" movies.
