Great receiver but poor execution.

Pros: Great sound, easy to see at night, powerful.
Cons: Poor remote, you need a PhD to figure out how to do basic tasks
The Bottom Line: Nothing special. Look elsewhere within Pioneer line for better implementation of features.

Tough Luck Purchase

Pros: EQ, bass boost, High-pass shelf point, several other audio enhancements--pretty nice.
Cons: Panel lights, multi-control functionality, overall feature/benefits....yuk.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product. Interestingly, Pioneer doesn't make it anymore. Guess that tells me they don't recommend it either!
