Pros: Looks good, Sounds great, Excellent lows, Pioneer name.
Cons: Complicated option selections.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this unit to just about anyone. It's easy to use straight out of the box, but has the options for enthusiasts as well.

Pretty good but don't like tuner

Pros: High Pass Filter, Quick power-on/track to track reads.
Cons: Don't recommend if you like listening to more then 6 preset FM stations often.
The Bottom Line: Excellent audio adjustment options, good CD seek times, average or below interface, poor controls for FM. Would highly recommend for CD/MP3/WMA listeners, but would not for heavy FM users.

Nice unit, but reliability issues...

Pros: PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER makes this system. The sound is fantastic.
Cons: Buttons are very small. Reliability issues.
The Bottom Line: Parametric equalizer is nice. But, reliability is a problem. Remote ceased to work. Tuner reception not too good.

Excelent CD player.

Pros: Sounds great, enough power, excelent radio and CD player. Lots of controls.
Cons: Line-input isn't built in, must be purchased as an add-on.
The Bottom Line: I'm completely happy with the DEH-3800MP, and I think most others would be too.

Pros: Good price, high power, MP3/WMA/WAV-cd's, satellite-ready.
Cons: No true "next random song" button for cd.
The Bottom Line: The addition of satellite radio, and playing mp3 cd's (which can contain hundreds of songs on 1 cd) make it worth upgrading to this unit!
