Great Unit! But what about the skipping issue?

Pros: Outstanding access to your music. Ability to create categories. Deleting tracks you don't like.
Cons: Time getting all of your CDs loaded but fun to reacquaint yourself with your CDs.
The Bottom Line: I would recomment it to anyone who has a large CD collection that mostly sits on your shelf. This lets you hear your music every day.

Is the CD Obsolete as a Dinosaur? With Sony's 300 Disc Player, it Ain't!

Pros: Great way to store and organize your CD Collection. Disc labeling.
Cons: All of those empty "Jewel" boxes. Display-Front Panel hard to read unless at eye-level.
The Bottom Line: Great for storage and organizing for those with large CD Collections. Optical output not worth cost of cable. Player and CDs should last forever.

Pros: It says SONY on it, for whatever that is worth these days.
Cons: Static noise from speakers, discs skip and get damaged.
The Bottom Line: If I can't return this to eCost then I am simply throwing it out.

Pros: It can be used to store 300 cd's. Even though it can't play them.
Cons: They are not heavy enough to make a good boat anchors.
