Yet another little charmer (basically)

Pros: Ideal for basic playing of DVDs without the need of a TV.
Cons: A couple of inconveninet quirks. Supposed to work when on edge, but doesn't.
The Bottom Line: A great toy -- useful, even, under some circumstanes. Supposedly usable turned on its side in a car, but it isn't. But men, it's a great toy.

Not good for the road

Pros: Rotating screen, screen quality, package comes with everything you need.
Cons: Non-existent skip protection, poor case design, bad location for infrared reader

Same problem - doesn't work in vertical position

Pros: Big screen, nice audio/video quality, supports all formats. Dual headphone jacks. Car cord incl.
Cons: Car headrest holster is useless, since unit won't play DVD's in the vertical position.
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this model for the tablet/car holster mode, since it does not work in vertical position.
