Used it - Enjoyed it - It Broke - Threw It Away

Pros: Detects all bands well enough to avoid a ticket, good display
Cons: mount breaks, power connect junk, cheap
The Bottom Line: Cheap. The product not the price. It works well enough but it will likely break (power connection) and then you will probably just throw it away like I did.

Good price, for a good radar.

Pros: Good price, good sensitivity on all three bands, bright display.
Cons: Windshield mount a little flimsy, retarded voice, low volume, confusing programming, false alarms
The Bottom Line: If you are considering a radar but don't want to shell out 300 for a top of the line but still want that works well... look into the Bel 880.

Pros: Extra Bright Display; Clear alerts; Low Falsing
Cons: Alert Volume Low; Dim to Bright for night; Electronics to light
The Bottom Line: This unit is for Budget minded Consumer that wants a detector, butfor one that works; get this model or New Bel 936 out on the market.

Great Bargain

Pros: Excellent sensitivity and selectivity on all bands, with competitive laser detection
Cons: Complicated programming, VG-2 Guard Alert
The Bottom Line: This radar detector is one of the best bargains on the market. The Bel 880 offers superior protection against the difficult Super-Wide Ka-band for the money.
