Chock full of features, very difficult to use
Pros: Very strong editing capabilities. Large hard drive.
Cons: Almost unbelievable difficult and unintuitive to use.
The Bottom Line: If you really need good editing, this machine represents a possibility. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Good Product, Unusual Quirks
Pros: Lots of hard disk space, flexible programming options, easy to create DVD's
Cons: TV Guide feature doesn't work; strange audio drop-outs ruin recordings
The Bottom Line: Maybe buy. Would "recommend" if Pioneer provided a forum or a FAQ section with problems like mine with suggested fixes from their service department.
