Pros: Easy to set up, fun to use, very well made
Cons: Crazy bright power light must be covered
The Bottom Line: This scope is very hard to top at the price and is the pinnacle of Celestron's famous 8 inch SCT. You can't go wrong with any of the CPC scopes.

The Fork Mounted Celestron C8 at The Height Of Its Abilities

Pros: Capable tracking, simple to operate, well thought out layout.
Cons: Large size, needs wedge for equatorial alignment.
The Bottom Line: The CPC 800 is capable of doing a lot out of the box. Maybe not ideal as a first astronomical telescope, but possibly all you'll ever need.
