Good picture, restricted battery life, no ext audio

Pros: Good Picture. Small and Light. Nice feel. MiniDV
Cons: Hard-to-find adapter for external audio. Severely limited battery life. Died 1 year after purchase.

Mine Died a Little After a Year

Pros: Good sound, nice picture, easy to use
Cons: Touch screen stopped working. It's the only way to rewind, fast forward or play tape.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy camcorder that requires use of touch screen as only way of viewing tape in camcorder. There should be another system in case touch screen fails as mine did.

Best Low Light Camera

Pros: Excellent low Light camera, full featured, burn directly to DVD from camera.
Cons: Very sensitive zoom in/out, touch screen might be tough to use for some people.
The Bottom Line: For people who take a lot of in home home movies this is the camera for you.
