Truly Outstanding

Pros: Performance way beyond its size and price
Cons: Keeping the battery levels up and getting used to the obtuse instructions
The Bottom Line: Unless you are planning to spend a LOT more $, the Kaito 1102 is simply unbeatable. It's a lot of radio, even if you're an experienced ham or SWL

Pros: Compact, digitally tuned, excellent signal reception, good battery life and features, very good value
Cons: User interface not always intuitive, some spurious signals on MW, battery charging not fully automatic
