Toshiba DVD Recorder
Pros: Very good quality records to 4 hrs. Wide variety of media. Built-in TV tuner
Cons: Tricky involved instructions. Very sensitive lens. Disc loads slow.
The Bottom Line: Good DVD recorders are more complex then VCR's. Going to disc recorders is a learning curve. As the products mature (3-6 yrs) they should be easier and less troublesome.
