Pros: Sound Quality! Bragging rights...it's expensive and Alpine's top of the line.
Cons: Cooling fan audible when volume is muted Not easy to use

The 9835 is a great unit, but I miss my 9815

Pros: Power, sound, good display and menu system, customizability.
Cons: Tuner performance, display options could have been more numerous, slow tuner preset refresh.
The Bottom Line: This is a nice car deck with great sound, but after the novelty of the display wears off I find myself thinking I was happier with the 9815.

Pros: Advanced, powerful audio tuning controls. Very clean design and appearance.
Cons: Audio tuning interface might be too complex for some. Information display screen requires wallpaper background.
The Bottom Line: Despite a slightly complex interface, this is a great headunit for those requiring advanced and complete audio tuning control of their system.

Pros: Awesome crossovers, decent loud sound, Biolite
Cons: Military time, horrible button sequence for configuration
The Bottom Line: Stay Away from this unit if you cant drive and think hard at the same time. NOT WORTH THE $$$
