SWF seeks simple, well-behaved CD player for Jeep. Pause button a must.
Pros: Nice style, great sound even for stock speakers, easy to use.
Cons: Doesn't play MP3s, detachable faceplate takes a little coaxing, pause button tricky at first.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend for anyone in the market for an extremely simple, yet stylish and good-quality CD player for their car.

Excellent value and features I needed!
Pros: No skips, excellent sound quality (CD), easy to use EQ function
Cons: I hate silver audio equipment, black is classic. Small preset buttons
The Bottom Line: Plays burned CDs without trouble, built to last (even though it is made in China), good circuit topology, excellent laser pickups, fast read, doesn't skip!

Pioneer DEH-1600 car CD player: fantastic budget choice
Pros: great sound, great equalizer options, easy &responsive controls, plentiful power, easy radio/track searching
Cons: some buttons not clearly marked, clock setting a pain, CD&faceplate eject buttons not great
The Bottom Line: GREAT sound and value for the cost, controls easy & responsive, easily learned. I'd buy it again!
