Good Disposable Equipment
Pros: PAL support
Cons: Use it as a disposable equipment if you just have few tapes to convert.
The Bottom Line: Buy it only if you have 20-25 home video tapes to convert to DVD.

Pros: when it works, it works well
Cons: flakey, unreliable, temperamental, proprietary format gives you compatibility headaches
The Bottom Line: Spend your money elsewhere. Or, buy this unit and be prepared to deal with the consequences.
