SD-V592 IS A UNIQUE UNIT, with STRONG PROS AND CONS!
Pros: UPconverting DVD-VCR Player. Picture at 1080i. PRICE POINT! HDMI. ONLY COMBO OF THIS TYPE.
Cons: Lacks solid feel, weak Remote, No picture adjustments. Slow Overall response.
The Bottom Line: Advantage of being ONLY UPconvert player with VCR, if you need one. Overall average , and POOR remote. Price is good. Make sure you buy from a Dealer with Warranty!

Good price on a great DVD/VCR combo that upconverts and has an HDMI output.
Pros: Good Price, Upconvert, HDMI, great picture
Cons: Slow loads sometimes and the brightness through HDMI being too bright. might be TV's fault
The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone looking for an upconverting dvd player with HDMI output, that also has VCR functionality to save shelf space.
