Panasonic does it right again

Pros: Good menu navigation, 99% dependable dubbing, 100% hard drive recording and scheduling.
Cons: The newer models have firewire input.
The Bottom Line: A very dependable workhorse, worth every penny I paid.

What's wrong with the E50

Pros: Records on almost any "popular" brand DVD-R Disc. LP recordings are 640x480 size like SP!
Cons: Can't change the chapter settings from 5 mins. Premature cooling fan failures!
The Bottom Line: Very good unit, Made in Japan.(1 of the last ones) Just has a cooling problem that's easily fixed!
