Pros: Easy to set up and use, nice looks and performance
Cons: Small satellite speakers are not for serious music listeners
The Bottom Line: If your objective is getting a home theater system thats easy to set up and use and are not into serious music listening, the A9 can be a good choice.

Sophisticated JVC lacks in sound

Pros: Stylish; good pictures; convenience.
Cons: Price; Sound is congested.
The Bottom Line: The TH-A9R is inadequate for home cinema its sound is bright and thin lacking in midrange.
