Pros: Sharp, contrasty and virtually distortion free. Constant f/2.8.
Cons: Heavy. VERY PRICEY.
The Bottom Line: Famous and expensive--for a reason. Highly recommended.

Pros: Beautiful pictures and cheaper now that it has been replaced by 17-35/2.8
Cons: Expensive, heavy, no hyperfocal distance scale, big filter size
