Two words; budget speakers

Pros: - Very inexpensive - Handy controls - Easy access headphone jack - Easy set up
Cons: - Practically no bass - Unable to handle loud or high quality sounds
The Bottom Line: Better then basic and almost as cheap, but not for the demanding.

Pros: Compact, elegant, nice sound
Cons: Light on bass
The Bottom Line: Buy these for personal speakers for music and game playing. Do not buy for earthquake-realistic game play.
