Pros: Price: it's cheap and adequate enough. you get a pretty decent range if kept low.
Cons: The lows are muddy, and the highs crack (significantly) as the volume goes up.
The Bottom Line: Get this only as a budget set of speakers. Does not give DVDs justice.
