Unbeatable value

Pros: Great value, good bass, accurate treble
Cons: Short cords, you can get way better speakers for a few hundred dollars more
The Bottom Line: The Altec Lansing 251s are not high quality speakers for audiophiles. They are cheap, but good quality starter speakers for the DVD or music enthusiast.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Price, Great looks.
Cons: Audible hiss from back channel. Center channel is underpowered. Subwoofer not deep.
