Pros: Low price, good performance for the price, sturdy volume knob, easy to use
Cons: Subwoofer volume control on the rear panel, external power supply, no headphone jack
The Bottom Line: Excellent inexpensive speaker system. Highly recommend for ones who want good sound for small amount of money.

A very clean 2.1 entry level system

Pros: Price, quality sound, crisp highs and smooth lows, space efficient and look good.
Cons: None considering it's a 30w total output system with basic controls.
The Bottom Line: Great entry level 2.1 speakers, inexpensive and nice appearance. Sound is clean and solid through entire range. Will thump without disturbing the neighbors.

Yamaha 3-piece speakers, clearly lacks bass compared to competition.

Pros: Affordable, Clear Trebles.
Cons: Insufficient bass.
The Bottom Line: If you're planning on upgrading your speakers, stay away from these speakers, as it lacks sufficient bass production.
