money well spent
Pros: 50mm objective lens for night, image stabilizer, 5min shutoff timer, quality optics
Cons: high price (but comparable to other good units) no battery life indicator.
The Bottom Line: Go with the 15x50IS - the field of view is too narrow on the 18x50IS and they are otherwise the same. Definitely buy IS binoculars!

Canon 15x50IS Binoculars
Pros: Sharp images; very good color correction; smooth and accurate focusing; water resistant.
Cons: Image stabilization very good, but not "perfect"; a bit pricey; slightly heavy.
The Bottom Line: I find these to be an excellent product. You won't be disappointed. Optics on par with more expensive binos and IS to boot.
