A real gem for the videographer.

Pros: Impressive video quality, great handling and controls, optical stabilization, good optical zoom. Good battery life.
Cons: Still images are average quality, flash is weak and ill positioned.
The Bottom Line: Not HD, but even so, image quality will not disappoint or get left behind any time soon. This is a great piece of equipment for the amateur.

Pros: Great video, Manual controls, My Modifications.
Cons: Floppy grip belt, Short battery life, Not enough gain for me, wind noise
The Bottom Line: Overall, much better than my 8 year old unit. I am very happy with the cam and feel it is a good purchase because of its manual controls.
