Pros: Great sound, excellent sensitivity and selectivity. Easy and intuitive to operate.
Cons: No signal stength meter (minor inconvenience.)
The Bottom Line: Don't look at the low price. This unit is outstanding and stands with the best.

Wow - a component TUNER - remember them?

Pros: Feature-packed: remote, lots of programming options and a very sensitive and selective FM section.
Cons: Sound quality -- while good -- isn't up there with the most polished audiophile tuners.
The Bottom Line: Tuner separates are a mature category, with few available under $500. The TR670 is arguably the best inexpensive option, with excellent programming/usabilty and a sensitive and selective FM section.
