Pros: Ease of use, small and compact, low price
Cons: Bad image quality at night or indoors, poor sound quality, poor warranty and service
The Bottom Line: Shop around and go DVD if possible. If not possible, get a higher end Mini DV.

Keep your receipt, you might need it!!!

Pros: Great camera for the price.
Cons: Great camera, until it breaks.
The Bottom Line: Buy from a good retailer and keep your receipts so you don't have to waste time with Canon's support if it doesn't work.
