Pros: Great sound quality looks good and is very appealing for listening to music loud.

Pros: Great sound, reliability, bright display, volume knob
Cons: Display real estate poorly used, no button to toggle time/info, dumb gimmicks
The Bottom Line: Great sound and overall quality outweigh a few stupid gimmicks and user interface annoyances

The nicest thing in my car

Pros: MP3 functions are great. Clear audio, the best I've heard in a car stereo.
Cons: Shuffle button doesnt really shuffle. Buttons lose lettering fairly quick. Not very attractive.
The Bottom Line: Aside from two small complaints, I would not hesitate to advise some one to purchase this product. I have always trusted and respected Alpine.

Cons: some ergonomic issues, lack of EQ/more useful center freqs. for treble control
The Bottom Line: Great balance of high-end customizable sound control and ease-of-use. Coupled with excellent sound quality, this head is hard-to-beat in this price range.
