Simple car stereo? Simple CD Player? Nah!

Pros: Awesome sound, less distortion than JVC unit, solid build
Cons: No MP3 playback, boring design does not match well with most cars

Cons: fm reception not excellent, no cd song titles, aux input costs extra

not bad for the price, BUT...

Pros: Clean, simple and non-gaudy look; high-pass filter is key if you don't have a subwoofer
Cons: Absolutely LOUSY owner's manual!!! Also, no MP3 playback.
The Bottom Line: Get it only if you can find it really cheap on eBay, like around $100. Otherwise try Eclipse.

Pioneer puts out another good one

Pros: Great adjustability, very durable, more options than similarly priced units, remote.
Cons: Dimmer doesn't dim much. Internal amp is hyped up (like all decks).
The Bottom Line: Definitely recommended, lots of standard features not found on other decks of this price, loads of adjustability, Pioneer's legendary reliability.
