Might be a good buy for people with smooth vehicles.

Pros: easy to use, reads cd-r and cd-rw, nice display
Cons: skips frequently, takes some time to read some cds/tracks, may detach face accidentally
The Bottom Line: If you buy it for less than $100, I'm sure you will not regret buying this unit, otherwise, I don't recommend, especially if you drive on rough roads constantly.

Although my model is CDX-L450, it's basically the same as this one, except that it has a red display ...

Sony's Mid-Class Car Stereo

Pros: Powerful, sounds good, good looking, inexpensive, high quality, easy to use, plays my CD-R's
Cons: preset buttons hard to read, detach face button is easy to hit accidentally
The Bottom Line: If you purchase this car stereo for under $140 it will be well worth the money. It is reliable, durable, powerful and an all-around great receiver. You won't be disappointed.
