Pros: MP3 feature, Progressive scan, Component outputs, price
Cons: Player freezes, Loses sync with monitor in high action sequences, subtitle quirks
The Bottom Line: Maybe I just got a bad unit, but this thing seems to have issues. It's all hardware inside so any fixes require parts being replaced by Sony directly (read: slowly ).

Pros: Progressive scan, nice look
Cons: Inconsistent picture quality, poor remote layout/feel, poor menu
The Bottom Line: Overall, I would think there are better choices out there. I have read many positive reviews of this player but my experience has not lived up to those.
