Pros: Played hundreds of different commercial and DVD-R discs with no problems.
Cons: No guarantee its successor (the 4000 model) is as good.

Is There a Daewoo for You?

Pros: Low price, great picture, great sound quality
Cons: No power switch on remote, pausing playback causes picture quality problems, unlit remote.
The Bottom Line: Even though this player has served me well, DVD players have moved forward technologically and prices have dropped. Better players are available for the price, look for them.
