Pros: sharp, bright, wide view angle, good value, convenient to use (just plug-and-play), with built-in speakers
Cons: the headset plug outlet is at the back which is inconvenient to use.

Pros: DVI input, built in powered USB hub, Thin profile, light weight
Cons: It'll make you buy a DVI video card, not-so-good positioning of USB hub
The Bottom Line: the 17.4" model is equivalent to a 19" CRT, at about 1/5th the size and weight. LCDs are the future, and the Planar rocks.

Pros: Huge screen size, beautiful bright colors, gorgeous sharp images, fits on a desk!
Cons: Autoset works but needs fine tuning to scale down display for perfect 1024x768
The Bottom Line: BUY IT, BUT BE CAREFUL- 2 versions of this monitor are shipping. NEWER version is DIGITAL AND ANALOG with 400:1 Contrast Ratio LCD. Older version ANALOG only with 250:1 LCD!
