Pros: Audio, PIP, Ease of use, can be used as a center channel for home theater
Cons: Fuzzy picture, not too compatible with progressive scan dvd, only one component input
The Bottom Line: Great entry level HD ready TV, but if you have the financial means or are interested in progressive scan dvd...stay away... far, far, away

Best Out For The Money

Pros: Film like picture quality on DVD/HD, Superior Performance on NTSC Broadcast and VHS
Cons: Only One Wideband Component Input Non User Servicable Convergence
The Bottom Line: If you are willing to pay to have it calibrated, nothing else will compare.

Good Set, Paying for the Sony Name?

Pros: Good Pro-Scan Display, $500 rebate
Cons: Only 1 HDTV input, why not two!! You are paying for the Sony name here.
The Bottom Line: Good HDTV picture, not great. Poor normal televison watching, (cable,VCR,etc) Poor price, get a Toshiba or Sharp since they fixed the problem.

Pros: Image Quality with High-Def Signals, 16:9 Widescreen.
Cons: Image Quality with Standard Interlaced Signals, Only One Hi-Scan Input.
The Bottom Line: A pricey set that works well with high-def input but has problems with NTSC-standard analog interlaced signals.
