Pros: Excellent macro capabilities, comfortable and light camera body.
Cons: 4X zoom not quite enough.
The Bottom Line: This camera is a little outdated now but if you do a lot of macro (close-up) photography it is an excellent choice.

Although dated, still pure Nikon

Pros: Macro, flexibility, construction, typical Nikon color rendition. Sharp true colors, add on lenses without adaptors.
Cons: NOT a point and shoot cam. Slow shutter response. Action photos require a sixth sense.
