Very good, for the money

Cons: Backtracks tapes
The Bottom Line: More so for the PV-V4623S, its current version, a very good VCR for the money.

good design, ruined by horrible quality

Pros: fast rewind speed; stand-up remote; fool-proof set-up menus; records in LP
Cons: poor picture quality; unable to sync tapes from other machines; recordings unusable on other machines
The Bottom Line: This unit certainly didn't measure up to the ratings of other writers, though may have been defective.

A Sub-par VCR

Cons: Grainy, poor picture on playback
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a fine picture on playback, look elsewhere.

Great All Around VCR

Pros: Great features, slick design, and well laid out remote.
Cons: Noise when it rewinds, some buttons on remote could have been bigger.
