Pros: Jog Shuttle on remote, Front S-Video inputs, 4MB Digital Memory
Cons: No Flying Erase Head, Doesn't like recordings from other VCR's
The Bottom Line: This a great VCR for the Audio/Video Enthusiast as long as you don't record on another VCR and play it on this one.

Great value full featured SVHS VCR

Pros: SVHS, Flying Erase Head, Front A/V inputs including S-Video, TBC, Picture Quality, Price.
Cons: None that I can find
The Bottom Line: If you can afford the Panasonic AG-1980 buy that and you will not be disappointed, otherwise I recommend the Go Video SDV-650 SVHS VCR.
