hello, my ps2 witch is one of the earlier models, (i bought it when it was still $300) causes the speakers in whatever i hook it up to (tv or stereo) to make an annoying loud popping noise. ive tried different cords, tvs, and speakers but they all make the same noise with the ps2. it makes this noise when no disk is inserted and goes to the main menu, or when i play a game disk or dvd. ive thought about using one of those laser cleaners or trying something to blow any dust that may be stuck in the vents that vacuming cant reach. i really would rather not have to buy a new ps2 or pay to get it fixed seeing as how its really not that old even if it is an early model, and ive taken very good care of it. any advise or ideas on how to fix this or sending it back to sony to get it fixed for free would be appreciated (seems like a $300 machine should not just crap out after 3 years, and sony should be willing to back thier product) thanks
