According to new Gartner figures, Nokia shipped less than 100,000 N900 smartphones in the first 5 months that it was available.
While that figure sounds low, Nokia's head of its solutions business, Alberto Torres said that sales substantially exceeded expectations. Nokia also told Engadget that the Gartner figures were off, and that it actually sold more than 100,000 N900s during the first 5 weeks it was available globally.
