I want to buy a DSLR for travel, now trying to decide between the Canon 7D and Nikon D7000, I want good high ISO performance, which one is better?

You are suffering from information overload. Truth of the matter is, all those cameras are perfectly well suited for the average user. How well versed are you in taking photos? How do you know which ISO performance will be acceptable? All you have presented there are numbers. In reality these numbers will not amount to much if you do not know how to use the camera.

They ALL WORK WELL! Pick one and go with it.

All you need to worry about is how to protect your camera from being stolen from wherever it is you are going to travel.

Nikon is best as far as from my experience.
