Who else here hates all the links to other forums that ppl keep pushing?

I know I've tried them but we all come back here.

To me those pushing the new sites must have incentives no?

Inside this group only, I am loyal as a mofo lol.

Now if Brian can only see his way to allow member mods we would be all set.

So to speak.

Last I remember Berny was headed back overseas in the service. That was eons ago. Jan is a turtle poster. Maybe once or twice a day? Unless he spars with a troll. (I suspect he secretly enjoys it). He has a huge superiority complex. It takes very little to get him going. That Nydas member has issues as well. Just about the whole sat section hates him/her. Some are born to ride the waves while others love creating them. Within a few months Sean could move up several notches.

They shouldnt be advertising on this site and for them to do so shows blatant disregard. What they were hoping for is the fact theres no mods and they could just do what they want. Its my way of saying they cant. Sometimes avoiding flack isnt the right thing to do and this is one of them.

Threads like those will ALWAYS happen here. Nature of the beast. Not just by Kevin either. Asking him to be banned is a little harsh lol. Especially when you see what some of the members over in the sat section get away with. I also find posting anything in the feedback area only draws more attention to the thread. Heck alot of times I check that area out just to see the drama lol.

Like Rovin said you may be opening a can of worms. Kevin is an ok guy. Next you'll have a bunch of mosquito members retaliating. Sometimes it's just best to let a thread die through attrition.

I asked for him to be banned because he knew what he was doing and did it anyway. In the end its up to the guy who moderates. As far as the maquitos what are they going to do talk me to death. As far as my reputation it speaks for itself so im not worried there either.

most that will happen is their threads instantly gets deleted

Hey you guys pay notice to that guy posting car radio codes in the car audio/accessory/head unit/security sections? Reg Rooster? Did a little reading and he's taking donations to further his "calculators". With almost every post he includes his paypal addy. I never paid him mind until I saw all his postings asking for $$. Noticed some others doing it too.

Now, normally if ppl want to donate on a random good cause I see no fowl play in it, but he's taking $$$ from ppl and his codes don't always work. Looks like he's playing it on some other forums too.

My guess is he has access to some old code program/sofetware and he's making a mint across the net taking donations by revealing codes to radios on car stereo forums.

You guys ever hear of him anywhere else?

I don't know. Just random babble I guess lol.

Working or not he's asking for it. He says it will help develop calculators that will work.

Making $$ off the masses. I mean he doesn't force you but he's playing the odds. Taking it to the dealer will set you back a bit. I guess if he solves your problem it's worth something to you right?

Problem is when was the last time anyone paid you for helping them here?

^^^^Precisely. The original intent of the internet was to educate and inform. It has done the job but so many have jumped on board in profiting from it that it has become the next billboard of life.

Youtube

Google

Ebay

Love and use them all but refuse to pay for them.

Wow. I didn't even realize blue ray burners were out yet. Yet, isn't the burn quality going to be limited to the quality of the input signal? I'm sure blue ray discs are copy protected so what are you going to be recording, cable or sat?

Ill be using software that gets around the copy protection legally and making copies of the movies I own on blu ray. As far as the quality its all about exactly copying the data on the original disc. Thats how you get an exact duplicate with no quality loss.

Just watched Titanic again. Feeling........... a tad weird.

Not emotional but.....mechanical lol.

Thinking about the movie a bit. In their final moments going down into the icy waters as the ship sinks.........why weren't they looking for flotation devices??? I mean they had 2 1/2 hrs between iceberg hit and death into the waters. Why was everyone panicking instead of making rafts to offset the lack of lifeboats lol?????

My azz would have had a fully stocked raft of not only food but some of that bad azz brandy they had so much of lol!!!!!!

Think about it though. In just an experimental state. Say your power were to be turned off RIGHT now. What would you do? What would you do in 8 hours? 12? 24?????

I seem to always think in that state of mind. How would I heat my home? Feed my kids and myself. Water? Medicine if needed.

Movies like Titanic bring that out in me.

I guess that's the boyscout in me lol?

Hey fellas. :-) It kinda feels good to be coming back around. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I've been addicted to an app on myspace called Mobsters. Met LOTS of cool @ss people though. That's the great thing about it, its social gaming. We have chat rooms and such. So have I missed any "epic" threads I should check out?

Lol, damnit Shawn.

Rovin, I'm just done with audio for now. I want to do some things to my engine in my DC4 (Integra). I'd be happy with a nice comp set with a small amp. I'm thinking about the AQ comp set and the small little amp they have. I drive for my job and I find myself listening to alot of different music nowadays, not just "bumping" music. I also listen to alot of sports talk radio. I guess I'm just kinda growing out of it. I'll be 30 in may. Who knows though? I might go back but for right now I don't think so.

LOL. I did do a 180. It's weird....my wife talked me into keeping my stuff!!

I have rocked a pair of Fi Q's and I have also owned a pair of the old schoold W3's, before all the W7's and all that came around....like 12 yrs ago. The Q's are by far my favorite subs I've owned and I know that eventually I am gonna move on from my pair of sdc2.5's to a single 15" Q or pair of 15" Q's again.

So yesterday I ended up in the ER. Thought I had a minor heart attack, but all the tests came back good so they figure I had a panic or anxiety attack. All of a sudden I got pain and tightness in my chest, short of breath, lightheaded, and tingling in my left arm (the feeling like its asleep). I wasn't doing anything stressful at the time but they said that long-term stress can bring it on and that alot of people that have panic or anxiety attacks mistake them for heart attacks. All I know is that it worried me enough to go to the ER. I'm all good though. :-)
