At the beginning of every show there is some text that basically says that not everything he does is real. It says something to the effect that he does some things for purely education purposes and that if there is any "real" danger that he is helped out.

still its interesting to watch, plus its not like the tv company can put him in real danger, even if he wanted to do some sh;t they probably couldnt let him.

I know not everything he does is real but i much prefer bear over survivor man. i learn alot more from bear in a single show than i have yet to learn from Les. They are both badasses but Bear has summited Everest and thats enough for me to say Bear is better.
