Classic as Matchbox 20 and Lenny Kravitz or back further like ACDC and Journey? I haven't really followed modern rock much (if at all). Having kids will do that to you lol. I still break out some old cd's and jam when I can tho. Just listened to some Kix the other day. I loved it back in the day.

My favs off of "Don't blow my fuse" are Don't close your eyes and She dropped me the bomb.

How about some Candlebox, Slaughter, Firehouse, Trixter, Skid row, Pearl Jam, Nine inch nails, ect.......

I'm leaving out the obvious like Quiet Riot, Van Halen, Twisted sister, Cinderella, Whitesnake, ect......

Man do I have a good collection of concert ticket stubs lol......

Yes I was the long haired rocker with the gene jacket with all the patches.

I love speakers and subs.

That said I can't express how much more you can enjoy your music with good headphones. It's an entirely different experience. One that shouldn't be ignored. It truly is a world of it's own.

I have their "discography" album. It was a part of my generation.

I get very nostalgic when I watch "The Breakfast Club" or "Ferris Bueller's day off". Everything about those two movies was right on to how I grew up.

Mine too. I watch the breakfast club every time it comes on. I had detention on Sat's.
BUT, I still made fun of anyone listening to Petshop Boys. Sorry guys.
My best friend was one of them...
Still music I guess.

I went from classic rock to country, for what its worth. Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, etc have more in common with classic rock than a lot of todays "rock bands" IMO. Most rock bands today seem to be more interested in making noise than actually making a statement of any kind.

haha i hear you stephen, i used to hate country then my mom started listening to it, then everytime i was with my girlfriends dad then my girlfriend listens to it sometimes and i hear it at work so its slowly growing on me not that i want it too but hey.

Take a listen to "Throttleneck" (instrumental) and "Online" (amusement for the myspace generation) by Brad Paisley. Might change some of your expectations about what "country" is.

I saw her a couple years ago when she opened for Keane at Radio City in NY. I thought she was cute (I have a weakness for Russian girls) and liked her odd style of music so I kept up on her since then. She looks waaaay hotter in person than in pics and her speaking voice is awesome and she is an incredible talent on the piano. Check out "11:11" and "Songs" or just grab "Mary Ann Meets the Gravediggers" which is a compilation of her first few cd's.

So far i like Fidelity, On the Radio, and Samson a lot. I can't say i've heard her speaking voice but when she sings it's like heaven. When she hits those high notes in Samson, i think i'm falling in love with her LOL!!

I saw some photos of her and I can see how she wouldn't typically be considered that good looking to american men (who tend to have really poor taste), but i think she's gorgeous.
