Let's start a new thread to list the best testing DVDs and CDs. By using those disks we can verify our system configuration and setups and enjoy the ultimates based on our own system.

Based on this artical the Hellboy DVD and Elephant CD and Roxy Music's Avalon CD seem to fall into this choices.

Toy story 1 and 2: the THX sound demo at the beggining when the logo comes up and the logo breaks down and a little robot guy flys up and flys around and you can hear him move from one speaker to the next. Really cool :-)

Stars Wars II: The Attack Of The Clones is one, and LOTR: The Return Of The King another... if I use the settings on all other DVDs that I use for these two movies, I find a very good balance overall.
